Professional Development

Professional development for COHST trainers is essential for professional teaching and is made up of the two following types:

  1. Compulsory Development and Accreditation (CDA) - A COHST Trainer must attend the COHST Re-Accreditation Day at least once a year. This ensures your competency as a trainer for the chosen field.
  2. Professional Development - In addition to CDA, COHST Trainers may wish to conduct additional professional development activities.

A COHST Trainer is required to:

  1. Enrol in the annual accreditation assessment.
  2. Complete the Trainer's Re-accreditation workbook prior to the Re-accreditation/Professional Development Day and post to the COHST office for marking
