Apprenticeships and Traineeships
Apprenticeships and traineeships are certificate courses which combine paid work with nationally recognised training.
Students learn skills in a particular industry by working and learning on the job, and also through training with an education provider, such as Swinburne.
Employers teach by example, while gaining the benefit of an extra employee.
Aapprenticeships are generally three to four years in duration and are available in a range of trades and industries.
Traineeships are usually one to two years in duration providing training in a non-trade area.
