Completing your apprenticeship or traineeship
Qualifications are awarded when both the employer and Swinburne agree that you are competent in the workplace as well as competent of the training provided by Swinburne.
For apprentices, the Apprentice Administration Branch (1300 722 6030) will send you a Letter of Completion with details of how to obtain a Certificate of Completion through VETASSESS www.vetassess.com.au.
Swinburne will provide the qualification and Statements of Attainment for apprentices and Certificates of Completion for trainees.
Further studies
Many apprenticeship and traineeship courses provide credit towards higher certificates or diplomas.
You may want to start your own business. Swinburne provides small business management programs designed to assist those setting up a business for the first time.
