Certificates in General Education for Adults (CGEA)

cgea

The CGEA (Certificates in General Education for Adults) has been designed to allow student aged 15+, who have not completed secondary education, to improve their literacy, numeracy and general education skills.

Our CGEA youth stream is set at a Certificate I and II level targeting students 15-16 years of age who are looking at completing an alternative to Year 10 in the TAFE setting.

The Certificates provide a range of educational opportunities for youth and offer pathways into our VCAL course, pre-apprenticeships, employment, further training and traineeships.
