The Building Department offers excellent training facilities. Our students work in up-to-date machinery shops and have access to quality tools and equipment.
Bricklaying & Blocklaying Bricklaying & Blocklaying
Students undertaking this course will complete broad based training in bricklaying and blocklaying, covering hand skills, terminology and design.
Carpentry & Joinery Carpentry
Participants in these courses complete broad based training in housing and commercial construction. The courses are designed as a pathway to gaining an apprenticeship in the building industry.
Drafting Drafting
This course covers building theory and practice related to residential, industrial and commercial buildings.

Painting & Decoration Painting & Decoration
Students complete broad based training in painting and decorating
Painting & Decoration

Plumbing A range of introductory courses are offered which may lead to employment in the Plumbing Industry. Certificate III in Plumbing together with on the job training meets all the requirements of the Plumbing Industry Commission to apply to be registered as a Plumber in Victoria.

The Certificate III in Automotive for apprentices in repair, services and retail.
Electrical Electrical
The electrical courses are designed to prepare students wishing to gain an electrical apprenticeship and the electrical apprentice training required to become a qualified electrician

A large amount of work in the electronics field interfaces with computers, control equipment and monitoring equipment across almost every industry.
