The School offers programs at Advanced
Diploma, Diploma, Certificate, Trade, Post Trade and basic vocational
levels.
It has facilities at Hawthorn, Croydon,
Wantirna and Lilydale Campuses. School programs have a strong vocational
orientation and contribute to the skill requirements of engineering
industries in an era of technological change. A wide range of commercial
activities to meet the specific training needs of industry are undertaken
by the School. Hawthorn campus houses State-of-the-art facilities
in CAD and CNC machining which are used extensively by industry.
Apprenticeship and pre-apprenticeship training
is a key focus of the School and, in co-operation with regional
group training companies, provides training for over 800 apprentices
annually.
