Ideas Gateway has funds allocated by the DVC to support
ideas. Each idea submitted to the Ideas Gateway is evaluated.
How
might the funding be used?
Funding
can be used to support you or others to develop and
implement the idea.
It could be used to give you or
others time release to develop and set up the idea. Or it could be used to buy in any
specialist skills needed to set up the idea.
Option
1: Act Now
These ideas are actioned immediately and may be allocated
up to $500 for implementation.
Option
2: Develop further and implement
These ideas are to be developed further and implemented
within 1 to 6 months. Funds from $500-$8000 may be allocated
to development and implementation.
Option
3: Major Idea - develop business plan
These ideas will have major impact on the Division and may
need up to 6 months development. Implementation can be up
to 12 months. Funds from $500-$8000 may be allowed for business
plan development and initial implementation stage
Option
4: Idea Referred
The idea is referred back to your School, Department or
GIGA.
Option
5: No Action
The idea will not be acted on at this stage. The idea will
be placed in Ideas Submitted where others may build on the
Idea.
