Preparatory and English Language Programs
Preparatory and English language programs are designed for students who have not had a great deal of formal education, or are from a non-English speaking background.
With an emphasis on improving self-confidence, courses are available in a range of areas and at a variety of levels.
They can help to prepare students for further education or enhance their employment opportunities.
Upon completion of the Certificate IV in Science or Liberal Arts or the Diploma of Liberal Arts, students can apply for entry to a university degree or TAFE diploma course.
Students undertaking Certificate II and above courses in numeracy and literacy may elect to enrol in units of competency in supported vocational Certificate III programs in the following areas:
- Aged Care/Home and Community Care (Croydon)
- Automotive/Welding (Wantirna)
- Financial Services/Bookkeeping (Wantirna)
Pathways in to the Certificate III in Business or employment.
Pathways in to a range of vocational courses at Cert I – IV level, or to VCE or employment.
Pathways in to a wide range of vocational courses at Certificate I – IV level, or to VCE or employment.
