After many years of schooling I was unable to pass English. I battled for many years not understanding my own language.
In 2008, my long road of learning and journey to overcome my English difficulties started. When I enrolled, I thought it would take many years to get to a high school level of English. It was not just my basic skills that were missing, but my self esteem was very low and needed to be rebuilt.
My teachers taught myself and others basic skills needed to reach our different goals. The skills taught were made easy by the different methods used by the teachers. They have opened up a world that I was unable to enter before, giving me skills and knowledge and belief.
Karen is now enrolled in VCE English
