Do I have to do all three clusters in the order they are being run?

  • No you can do the clusters in any order.

Also, you may not require the full qualification for your work. Therefore choose the cluster which relates to your needs. Please see scenarios for further guidance.

Why have the clusters been developed in this way?

  • We have put subjects/units, which have a common theme together to make learning relevant and to allow for holistic assessment. Also, it allows for people who wish to gain expertise in a specific field to undertake just that part of the course.
  • The ‘Learning Design cluster' was created with a specific purpose in mind. Four of these units represent the major gap between the ‘current' and ‘new' qualification.
  • People wishing to ‘upgrade' may undertake these units and also Recognition of Current Competency (RCC).
