Future in Focus was developed as the TAFE Division’s Strategic Vision for 2003-2011 in alignment with the University Statement of Direction 2015

The mission of Swinburne TAFE Division is:
To provide quality vocational education and training for industry and the wider community, capitalising on its advantage as part of a dual sector university of technology. -
Future in Focus includes a set of seven key performance areas (KPAs) that each have a strategic goal and describe the characteristics of the Division
The KPAs which guide our future directions are:

2. External engagement: industry and community partnerships
3. Valuing our people
4. Intersectoral advantage
5. Internationalisation
6. Research
7. Innovation and entrepreneurship
