  • Small Technologies Research Report: An OTTE funded research project carried out by Lyn Firminger and Warwick Howland for the Centre for New Manufacturing in 2005. Fifteen firms with connections to microtechnology, nanotechnology or photonics were interviewed about their technician level skill needs
  • Microtechnology and Other "Must Have" Technologies: An ANTA funded demonstration project showing various ways in which VET organisations can interact with CRCs.
  • Training for the Future: A Swinburne intersectoral project carried out in 2003 which explored how the TAFE Division might link to Cooperative Research Centres.
  • Environmental Studies 2008: The race to a green economy... can we get there first? The focus of this investigation is to:
    • Explore the latest thinking and key drivers  influencing the environmental industries
    • Explore opportunities in education & training
    • Identify & quantify the value of environmental industries
    • Recommendations & Implications for Swinburne TAFE
    • Continue as an open and ongoing planning and development process
