How to Apply

VTAC Applications

If you are applying for a TAFE full-time Certificate IV, Diploma and Advanced Diploma courses commencing in Semester 1 you must complete require a Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre (VTAC) application. Applications open in July and must be submitted electronically via the VTAC website. Timely applications close during the last week of September and although late applications will be accepted by VTAC until mid December some programs that have special requirements will not accept late applications.

If you are applying for a TAFE course in semester 2 or during the year, apply directly to Swinburne by completing the form below.

Direct Applications

If you are applying for part-time TAFE study, or for a full-time TAFE course that is not offered through the VTAC system, you must apply directly to Swinburne by either of the following methods:

• Completing the TAFE Online Application Form
• Submit a written application via the TAFE Application Form (pdf 32KB)
