Jess Bosnic

Diploma of Costume for Performance

Jess Bosnic has always had a keen interest in theatre and fashion. It was the merging of these two passions that led Jess to study the Diploma of Costume for Performance at Swinburne TAFE.  Having completed work experience in London at Angels the Costumiers and won a scholarship abroad in her second year, Jess went on to work at the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden and Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre in London where she is still employed. Part of her job is to teach the 16th Century costume making techniques to new staff, including how to make and launder an Elizabethan Ruff. It has been the work of her second year costumes which have proven to be winners at interviews, helping Jess also land work in films, commercials and a TV series.
